KARACHI, July 20: Three persons died in separate accidents in different parts of the city on Sunday.

A police staffer died in a road traffic accident in Clifton on Sunday.

Police said Khawaj Mohammad, 34, Naib Qasid at the Central Police Office, was knocked down by a motorcyclist, Amjad, who was also injured in the accident.

Both the injured were taken to the JPMC where Khawaj was pronounced dead on arrival while Amjad was admitted for treatment.

The police said that Mohammad Safdar, 38, died, while another passenger, Aziz, was injured in a collision between a passenger coach and a minibus at the Shaheed-i-Millat Road near the Hill Park.

In another accident, an unidentified man died in a hit-and-run incident in the limits of the TPX police station.

The police said that an unidentified man in his mid 20’s was knocked down by an unknown vehicle near ICI bridge.
