MARDAN, July 19: NWFP Chief Minister Akram Khan Durrani has sanctioned Rs30 million to upgrade the Ganjai Rural Health Centre (RHC) in Takhtbai to tehsil headquarters hospital.

MNA Maulana Qasim told this correspondent that the chief minister had promised to upgrade the RHC to a tehsil-level hospital during his recent visit to Takhtbai.

He said that a separate fund was also sanctioned for the construction of a mosque in the hospital. Earlier, Rs6.02 million had been given for the Hatian bridge and work on the project would start soon, he said.
