KARACHI, July 15: With morale-boosting win over Pakistan Juniors under their belt, the fast improving Chinese will clash Pakistan Seniors at the UBL Sports Complex in their second friendly hockey international on Wednesday.

Team’s assistant coach Olympian Shahid Ali Khan said they would be resting skipper Ahmed Alam and Muhammad Qasim and Salman Akber will be tried along with some new boys.

When asked to comment whether Sohail Abbas and Wasim Ahmed, who had been asked to report at national training camp in Karachi will be considered for the match.

“We may consider them if they arrived in time and team management required them”, Shahid said.

After losing first three games against Pakistan Juniors and Pakistan Seniors, China registered their first win when they beat Pak Juniors 3-1 on Monday.

With passage of time and acclamation to local conditions, Chinese have shown fast improvement and tomorrow’s tie will show their potential.—APP
