KARACHI, July 15: Six ships carrying containers, gas oil and to load general cargo are expected to arrive at the outer anchorage on Wednesday, according to KPT sources.

Berthing activity at the wharves was moderate where four ships, Kota Wajar and Dong He to unload and load containers, Mary Ann to off-load high speed diesel and Grozny to load naphtha were berthed after the departure of three.

The ships, which departed were led by Asian Pollux, Love Song and Sea Ford, while Ping Jiang, Mare, Mary Ann, Dong He, Amber-1 and Torge-S are due to sail out on Wednesday.

Cargo handling activity at the wharves remained modest owing to relatively lower shipments of export cargo totalling 8,115 tons of export tonnage and 52,468 tons of import cargo.

The following ships are due on Wednesday: Blue River, with gas oil, Bunga Mastiga, Hyundai Advance, Kota Intan and al-Ihsaa, with containers, Pytheas, with 28,258 tons of DAP fertilizer and lynx, to load general cargo.
