RAWALPINDI, July 12: The education and performance record of the employees of the cooperative bank is being scrutinized with the help of the examination boards and universities concerned, an official said.

He said the action had followed the policy decision by the Punjab government to sternly deal with the corrupt and inefficient elements in the bank. He said all of them would be proceeded against according to the relevant law. He said it had further been decided that the cooperative bank would receive Haj applications from this year.

The official said all possible efforts were being taken to facilitate the customers of the bank and information would be provided to them about the bank’s services through field officers.
