KARACHI, July 12: Sindh Chief Secretary Dr Mutawakkil Kazi on Saturday asked the Sindh culture and social welfare department to ensure coordination with relevant departments to resolve the problems of the Pakistan Association of the Blind (PAB) and submit report to this effect by last the week of this month.

He was addressing a meeting which reviewed the problems facing blind people. Secretaries of the Sindh government and office-bearers of PAB attended the meeting.

The meeting decided that assistance would be provided to PAB for strengthening its training project at North Karachi.

Dr Kazi promised to provide computers to PAB’s training centre and ensure every possible assistance for the solution of their problems.—PPI
