ISLAMABAD, July 7: Myanmar Foreign Minister Win Aung is due here for talks with Pakistani leaders, the foreign ministry announced on Monday.

Win will arrive here on Tuesday from Bangladesh where he is, currently, on a regional tour as a special envoy of Myanmar President Than Shwe, foreign office spokesman Masood Khan told a weekly briefing.

Mr Khan did not shed any light on the purpose of the rare high-level visit as Myanmar has nominal trade/ties with Pakistan.—AFP
