KARACHI, July 2: Four ships carrying steel coils, containers and crude oil are due to arrive at the outer anchorage on Thursday, according to KPT sources.

Sailing on the other hand was active as five ships, Pu He, Iwato, Australia Bridge, Sorena and Nur Yanbu departed, while APL Cairo, Mar Challenger, Sima Bahar, Hyundai Sprinter and Shao Shan-1 are expected to sail out on Thursday.

Cargo handling activity at the wharves was maintained on the higher side where 81,097 tons cargo comprising 21,953 tons of export cargo including 4,602 tons of wheat and 2,698 tons of chromore and 59,144 tons of import cargo was handled.

The following ships are due on Thursday: Al-Mariyah, Canadian Express, with containers, Fivos, with 11,516 tons of steel coils and Commo-JC-Jimenez, with 65,000 tons of crude oil.
