At a meeting held at his office on Wednesday, he was informed that some people were using these pickets to extort money after stopping vehicles on the pretext of checking. It was informed that some of these pickets had turned into debris.

He said that if he got any further complaint in this regard, stern action would be taken against the concerned police officer.—PPI
