POF lift trophy
ISLAMABAD, June 23: POF won the All-Pakistan Sardar Abdul Qayyum hockey tournament by beating Army 5-4 on penalty strokes on Monday.
Both sides were locked 1-1 at the end of regulation time and there was no scoring in the extra-time too. The match then went into a shoot-out. Rana Afzal, Khaleequz Zaman, Fayaz and Shafiqul Islam were the scorers for POF for whom Rashid had netted in the scheduled period of play.
