GILGIT, June 21: The Pakistan-China border crossing at the Khunjerab Pass would be reopened after a two-month closure for trade and tourism on July 1, Northern Areas Acting Chief Secretary Saeed Ahmed Khan said on Saturday.
Mr Khan said that they would receive WHO-designed health kits by the last week of June and the Northern Areas health officials were taking all preventive measures at the Sost border to meet any eventuality of SARS.
The border was scheduled to reopen on May 1 was kept closed for two months.
