LAHORE, June 20: The Punjab government will provide loans to the low income class through commercial banks on low mark-up for the construction of houses.
This was stated by Punjab Housing Minister Raza Ali while presiding over a meeting here on Friday. He said a scheme in this regard would be initiated soon.
He said the government was also planning to provide constructed houses to people. The State Bank and other banks would purchase these houses for those who fulfilled its financial requirement.
The payment would be recovered from them in instalments, he said.
