Drive against water tax defaulters launched

RAWALPINDI, June 20: The Rawalpindi Cantonment Board (RCB) on Friday started operation against the illegal water connection holders and defaulters of water bills.

The RCB has warned the illegal water connection holders to legalize their water connections otherwise stern measures would be taken against them.

The board also directed the water tax defaulters to deposit their outstanding bills within the due date to avert disconnection of water supply. According to RCB sources, during the ongoing drive against water defaulters, more than 150 connections have been snapped.—PPI
