KARACHI, June 20: Aamir Khan, General Secretary of Mohajir Qaumi Movement (MQM-H), has said that the Hippocratic attitude of so-called Mohajirs has exposed the anti-Mohajir elements who would finally have to face the music.

In a statement, he said those who were trying to suppress Mohajirs and hold them hostage would not remain in power forever. He also urged the national security institutions to take notice of acts of terrorism being committed in the name of election campaign in this constituency.

Meanwhile, MQM-H candidate Abid Jaffery has alleged that the way innocent Mohajirs were being subjected to ‘state terrorism’ was highly deplorable. He urged the chief election commissioner to take notice of the use of state machinery in the byelection campaign. Otherwise, he added, the election would prove to be a meaningless exercise.

MMA: Hafiz Mohammad Taqi of Muttahida Majlis-i-Amal, while addressing the Seerat Conference in Gulshan-i-Iqbal on Friday, vowed to inflict a crushing blow to the Muttahida Qaumi Movement saying that the MMA candidate, Aslam Mujahid would emerge victorious if free, fair and transparent election was held.

He said those who believed in ethnicity and sectarianisms were agents of the forces supporting American domination.
