KARACHI: PPO to deliver phone bills too

KARACHI, June 18: The Pakistan Telecommunication Company on Wednesday signed an agreement with the Pakistan Post Office for bill collection.

A press release issued by the phone utility says that from now on, the PTCL subscribers could also deposit their bills at post offices in addition to banks throughout the country. Mashkoor Hussain, member business development and customer care of the PTCL, and Agha Masood Hussain, director-general of the PPO, signed the agreement. The federal minister for information technology and telecommunications, Awais Ahmed Khan Leghari, and the chairman of the PTCL, Akhtar Hameed Bajwa, were also present.

The agreement for PTCL bill collection will be effective from July 1.
