KARACHI, June 13: Ali Mohammad banged home a second half winner to help formidable Hyderi Baloch gain full points after overcoming LLWC 2-1 in the KASB Premier League at CDGK ground on Friday.

Aftab Ahmad converted the penalty kick in the 20th minute to give his side a slim 1-0 lead after being felled by LLWC goalkeeper Mohammad Nasir near the area.

LLWC retaliated with a second session equaliser when a move involving Shakir Lashari and Liaquat Naz ended on a neat finish by Jameel Baba in the 44th minute.

LLWC strikers Badar Qadir, Allah Bukhsh and Shakir pressed further for the match-winner but missed a number of sitters.

Ali Mohammad finally rescued leaders Hyderi Baloch from a possible draw after some excellent work by Farooq Shah and Aftab in the 50th minute.

Saturday’s fixture:

Usmanabad Union v Nawab XI at Usmanabad Stadium.
