AMP strike continues

ISLAMABAD, June 10: The Anjuman-i-Mazarain Punjab (AMP) continued its symbolic hunger strike for the 24th day outside the G-7 kutchi abadi on Tuesday.

The tenants expressed their solidarity with the kutchi abadi dwellers in their fight for ownership rights and basic services.

Earlier, the AMP office-bearers held separate meetings with PPP MNA Chaudry Manzoor Ahmed and representatives of the Punjab Bar Council (PBC). They assured the AMP of their support and said they would visit the military farms soon.
