By Our Staff Reporter

KARACHI, June 10: The bodies of two fishermen who went missing on Monday were recovered on Tuesday morning.

The two fishermen had gone missing when their boat hit the wreckage of a sunken ship off the Clifton beach on Monday.

Edhi sources said that bodies of two fishermen — Javed and Moosa — were retrieved from the sea by the divers.

Four fishermen, Tayyab, Bashir, Saifullah and Yaqoob, had managed to swim to the shore following the accident.

The bodies were later handed to the families for burial, Edhi sources said.

ACCIDENT: A young man died in a road accident at Tower on Tuesday.

Zahidullah, 24, was crossing the main I.I. Chundrigar Road when a speeding coach (PE-3030) knocked him down. He was taken to the Civil Hospital Karachi where he was pronounced dead on arrival.

CRUSHED: An unidentified young man died after being hit by a locomotive near Cantonment Railway Station.

Police said the unknown man, in his early 20s, was trying to cross the tracks when he was hit by a train. His mutilated body was shifted to the JPMC.
