KARACHI: Grant for artists

KARACHI, June 10: Sindh Governor Ishratul Ibad on Tuesday presented a cheque for Rs100,000 to poet and folk singer Sail Azad for his treatment.

The poet met the governor at the Governor’s House. The governor also presented a cheque for Rs125,000 to the PTV’s general manager for the artists who took part in folk dances and orchestra on the occasion of inauguration of the PTV’s regional channel.

The Sindh governor also gave a Rs25,000 cheque to Mr Azim for Qari Zahid Amin.—APP
