Reception for PPP women

LAHORE, June 6: Eight PPP women workers reached Lahore on Friday after their release from Multan prison.

They were among dozens of activists belonging to opposition parties who were arrested from outside the Punjab Assembly while protesting against the LFO.

PPP leaders welcomed them, garlanded them and took them to the PPP provincial office in a caravan amid slogans. — Reporter
