NBP in final

LAHORE, May 20: National Bank, Lahore entered the final of the fourth DSW Gold Cup Cricket Tournament defeating Sui Gas, Lahore by 55 runs in the semifinals at the Moghalpura Institute Ground on Tuesday.

Fine batting by international Qaiser Abbas (72) and Adnan Akmal (69), the younger brother of Test discarded wicketkeeper Kamran Akmal, helped NBP to pile up 243 for seven in 40 overs. Imran Nazir another Test reject scored (32). In reply, Sui Gas were all out for 188.

Kashif three for 24, Rizwan two for 35).
