By A Reporter

ISLAMABAD, May 20: City magistrate, Islamabad, Rana Farasat Ali Khan, has directed the police to release 11 labourers who were arrested under 55/109 Vagrancy Act a few days ago.

The labourers, all belonging to NWFP, were booked by the Margalla Police in Peshawar Morr area when they were waiting for work.

Taking exception on an application filed by the Legal Aid and Human Rights Society, the magistrate ordered the Margalla police SHO, Habibullah Khan Niazi, to free the detainees.

ASI Shaukat Ali Khan appeared in the court along with the 11 labourers but the magistrate said that the evidences were not enough to prove their offence.
