SLIC acting chairman

KARACHI, May 20: Muhammad Latif has taken over as acting chairman of State Life Insurance Corporation on completion of three years term as chairman of Samee-ul-Hasan.

At a reception for Samee-ul-Hasan, Muhammad Latif said that SLIC distributed Rs6.52 billion as Actuarial surplus to the policyholders during 2002, showing an increase of 68 per cent.

SLIC’s total fund amounted to Rs8.51 billion and total income stood at Rs1.90 billion.

Senior executives paid tributes to Mr Samee for his leadership qualities and business vision that has put SLIC on path of progress and development.
