BD trade minister for India

By Our Correspondent

DHAKA, May 19: Finance and Planning Minister of Bangladesh, M Saifur Rahman, has left for New Delhi on Monday on a four-day visit to discuss with Indian leaders a broad spectrum of bilateral issues, with trade high on the agenda.

During his stay in Delhi, he will hold crucial talks with Indian Prime Minister Atal Behari Vajpayee. Rahman is also expected to meet the Indian ministers for finance, law and justice, trade and industry, communications, information technology and external affairs. Bilateral trade issues will top the finance minister’s talks with the Indian leaders, sources in the ministry said.
