KARACHI, May 7: The Sindh government has reconstituted the Board of Governors of law colleges, it was announced here on Wednesday.

“In this respect, Advisor to Chief Minister for Finance and Cooperation, Aftab Ahmed Shaikh, has been nominated chairman of the said board,” the announcement said.

The advocate general Sindh, the representative judge of chief justice Sindh High Court, the secretary law department, the secretary education department and the principal S. M. Law College are the official members of the board.

The non-official members are former governor Balochistan S.F. Lodhi, former provincial education minister, Dr Qazi Khalid advocate, Barrister Choudhari Muhammad Jamil and Abdul Rehman advocate.

Provincial Advisor Aftab Ahmed Shaikh, who has been appointed as chairman of the board, is also a prominent advocate of Hyderabad and is associated with the Jinnah College.—APP
