KARACHI, May 6: The chairman, Pakistan-Iran Business Council, Tariq Saeed has said that the council’s joint business meeting will be held in Tehran on June 2.

The meeting will discuss new joint venture possibilities in various fields besides deliberating on the issue of transportation of consignments through land routes, he said in a farewell meeting with the outgoing consul general of Iran, Mohammad Zaeri Amerani on Monday.

Tariq said that the Pakistan trade delegation, consisting of members, Iran Business Council of the FPCCI and experts in specific fields, will be led by FPCCI president, Riaz Tata.

Zaeri Amerani said that the trade between the two countries have increased and the next council meeting will open new avenues. He said Pakistan Single Country Exhibition in Iran would also provide opportunities to project the real image of Pakistan’s trade potential.
