KARACHI, May 6: Four vessels are expected to arrive at the outer anchorage on Wednesday to unload and load containers, according to KPT sources.

For the second day in a row berthing activity at wharves failed to pick up owing to slow arrivals of foreign ships. Three ships—Kota Wajaya, to unload and load containers, Al-Cyonida to offload crude oil and Hermia to unload chemicals, were berthed after the departure of six.

The ships which departed included Izumo, Kota Wajaya, Pacific Express, Sorena, Essberger Pilot and Fjord Champion, while Glory, X-Press Kailash, Hermia,Al-Cynida and Gao

He are due to sail out on Wednesday.

Cargo handling activity at wharves remained modest where a total load of 55,723 tons comprising 24,383 tons of export cargo and 31,340 tons of import cargo was handled.

The following ships are due on Wednesday: Kota Intan, Hyundai Advance, Argonaut and Sima Bahar, to unload and load containers.
