PSB team to represent in Malaysia
KARACHI, May 5: Two local teams (U-18, U-15) representing Pakistan Secondary Boards (PSB) will feature in a six-a-side International Junior hockey tournament to be held in the Malaysian city of Ipoh next month during June 21-22.
The invitation to participate in the event was sent by the tournament’s Malaysian organisers to the Pakistan Hockey Federation (PHF) recently. The PHF passed it on to the officials of PSB who agreed to select, train and send their teams for the competition.
The two-day trials to select the under-18 and under-15 teams will be conducted by a selection committee appointed by the PSB in Quetta later this month.—PPI
