Freight hike denied

By Our Staff Reporter

KARACHI, March 21: The Export Promotion Bureau’s (EPB) committee on Iraq War held its first meeting on Friday, and reviewed the challenges being faced by exporters.

The committee members contacted air and shipping lines to collect up-to-date information about freights and other charges normally imposed in a war.

However, still or no changes have been made in sea or air freight charges whereas fuel surcharge, bunder charges and schedules are still normal.

Meanwhile, Kuwait Airways has cancelled its Friday and Saturday flights to Kuwait.
