LARKANA, March 20: Workers of the People’s Students Federation-SB and PPP-SB youth organization on Thursday took out a joint procession to protest against the US invasion of Iraq.

Protestors, who emerged from the Al-Murtaza House carrying banners and placards, were raising anti-war slogans. After marching on the main roads of the city, they assembled outside the local press club.

Speaking on the occasion,Ali Gohar Chandio, Ghulam Rasool Umrani and others accused the US of unilaterally opening the war, showing disregard to the world opinion and violating the United Nations charter.

The invasion, they said, was not aimed at uprooting terrorism but an act of terrorism itself.
