LAHORE, March 17: Five goals by Faaiz Rahim Khan enabled Security-2000 to beat Black Berets 8-7 in the Lahore Polo Club tournament on Monday.

The losers with two goals on handicap, took the lead 4-2 in the first chukker.

 Irfan Ali Hyder drew first blood for Security while Faaiz struck his first goal. Umar Sadik and Kamran Zaidi scored for Berets.

Security dominated the second chukker and restored the parity (4-4) scoring two goals, one each through Faaiz and Irfan.

Faaiz scored two more goals while Hussain Iftikhar struck a goal. For Berets Jamal Iftikhar netted a goal in the third chukker.

At the start of fourth chukker, Faaiz completed his tally by converting a 30 yards penalty hit. Umar scored back to back goals also converting 30-yard penalty hits but only to reduce the margin 8-7.

In another match of the tournament, Surf defeated Shehzad Siddiq Textiles 5-2 1/2.

Ahmad Nawaz Tiwana scored two goals for the winners. Yaqoob Sial, Raja Sattar and Ahsan Javed Sher added a goal each.

For the losers, with 1 1/2 goal handicap , the solitary goal was scored by I A Khan.
