Farhan and Hafeez hit centuries

LAHORE, March 17: An unbeaten 119 by Farhan Adil helped  Habib Bank beat Gujranwala by a big margin of 125 runs  in the  NBP One-day Patron’s  Cup Pool  ‘A’ match at Jinnah Stadium in Gujranwala on Monday.

Meanwhile, a century  by Mohammad  Hafeez (131)  fell  short  to  save Sargodha  from  a  seven-wicket defeat against Zarai Tarqiati Bank Limited (ZTBL) at Sports Stadium in Sargodha.

In  another  match of the same pool, Wapda registered an 181-run win over Multan at Multan Stadium.

*At Jinnah Stadium, Gujranwala:

Habib Bank beat Gujranwala by 125 runs.

HABIB BANK 339-5 in 50 overs (Farhan Adil 119, Saleem Elahi  57, Taufiq Umar 47, Khaqan Arsal 33, Hasan Raza 27; Tauqir Raza  2-67);

GUJRANWALA 214 in 49.5 overs (Haroon  Nagi  73,  Aamir Gulzar  41,  Akif Ali 38, Asim Munir 25; Danish  Kaneria 3-41, Hasan Raza 3-45, Imran Farhat 2-43).
