KARACHI, March 12: The Institute of Behavioural Sciences will start the second training course for community mental health promoters on Tuesday, says a press release.
It adds that the first course was conducted from Oct 1, 2001, to March 30, 2002. “Out of 40 applicants, 10 men and women were shortlisted and were selected for six months’ intensive training free of charge. In the second batch, the trainees will be paid a stipend of Rs500 per month and course material will be provided free.”
