Sindh govt urged to ensure peace


ISLAMABAD, March 7: Prime Minister Mir Zafarullah Khan on Friday directed the Sindh government to ensure observance of law and order.

Talking to the Governor Dr Ishratul Ibad, who called on him at Prime Minister’s House, the prime minister termed maintenance of peace and security a prerequisite for socioeconomic development.

The governor apprised the prime minister of the steps taken by the provincial administration to maintain peace, security and sectarian harmony, specially during Muharram.—APP
