KARACHI: NED declares BE results

KARACHI, March 5: The NED University on Wednesday announced the results of BE (final year) annual examination of the 1998-99 batch, along with supplementary exam results of various other batches.

According to an announcement, 145 candidates obtained first division, while three remained second in the BE exams.

Sadaqatullah Khan, seat No 215, clinched the first division, Farheen Mazhar, seat No 195, obtained the second, while the third position went to Syed Atif Ali, seat No 269.

The results of students having seat Nos 65, 219, 258 and 308 have been withheld while that of seat Nos 184, 195, 223, 305 and 309 would be announced after submission of project reports.

The result of one candidate, with seat No 261, of the BE final year (civil engineering) supplementary examination 1997-98 batch was also withheld.

Candidate bearing seat No 104 of the BE final year (civil engineering) supplementary examination 1995-96 was declared pass in second division.—PPI
