KARACHI, March 1: Exel, a global supply chain management, has established its own operations in Pakistan.

Formed as Exel Pakistan (Private) Limited, the company will undertake to perform freight forwarding activities, as well as providing logistics solutions encompassing services such as warehousing, container-yard management, transportation, cross- border logistics and including custom brokerage services. Exel Pakistan headquartered at Karachi will also operate through its own offices at Sialkot, Lahore, and Islamabad covering the major industrial territory in Pakistan.

“We are pleased to be moving forward in our initiative to be one of Asia Pacific’s strongest logistics providers by entering the promising Pakistani market,” said Graham Lunney, Exel’s Managing Director for South Asia during the signing ceremony held on Saturday at a local hotel.
