KARACHI: Bandits kill two young men

KARACHI, Feb 28: Motorcycle hijackers shot dead two young men in Gulzar-i- Hijri on Friday.

The police said that two young men, Qamaruddin and Nazik, were travelling on a motorcycle (DGF-175) near Shadbagh in Gulzar-i-Hijri when unidentified men riding a bicycle intercepted them.

When the two young men tried to put up resistance to the bandits, they opened fire on the young men and escaped on their motorcycle.

Qamaruddin and Nazik suffered multiple bullet wounds. They died on the spot.

The dead men hailed from Rahimyar Khan.

SUICIDE: A young man committed suicide at his house in Quaidabad on Friday. The police said that Mangal Mal, aged 29, shot himself in the head.

ROAD ACCIDENT: A teenage boy died in a road accident on Jinnah Bridge on Friday morning.

The police said that Abdul Ghani was run over by an unidentified vehicle on Jinnah Bridge.
