KARACHI: British Council office to be reopened

KARACHI, Feb 25: The British Council Karachi Office, which was closed down in May 2002, is being reopened, says a press release of the city government.

Naib Nazim Muhammad Tariq Hassan called on the British Council Director Charlie Walker on Tuesday, and discussed affairs regarding the reopening of the consulate office.

Naib Nazim assured the Director of sufficient security measures. DIG traffic Saud Mirza, the TPO Saddar and Clifton Towns and other officers concerned were also present on the occasion.

The reopening will facilitate students doing A-level and O-level courses.—PPI
