By Our Reporter

ISLAMABAD, Feb 24: Asif Ali Zardari, the detained husband of former prime minister Benazir Bhutto, will be shifted to the capital after completing his six-day parole at Naodero, Larkana, Interior Minister Faisal Saleh Hayat said.

Talking to Dawn on Monday, the minister said Mr Zardari had been permitted to go to Larkana to attend the Chehlum of his mother-in-law, Shireen Amir Begum.

Mr Zardari was earlier shifted to Karachi from where he travelled to Naodero, the ancestral village of his wife, Benazir Bhutto.
