KARACHI: Afghan, two others murdered

KARACHI, Feb 24: Three bodies were found in various parts of the city on Monday.

Ahmed Jan, 40, an Afghan, was killed by unknown persons in Gulzar Hijri by a blunt weapon. His body, with a head injury, was found behind the Maymar Complex.

The body was identified by the victim’s brother-in-law.

It was shifted to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital for postmortem.

Police suspected personal enmity behind the killing.

In Baloch Colony, an unidentified body was found in a gunny bag in at a garbage dump on Monday.

The victim was in his mid-20s and had stab wounds in the abdomen. The body was shifted to JPMC for postmortem. Later, it was shifted to the Edhi morgue for identification, police said.

In the limits of Shah Latif police station, an unidentified body of a young man was found early Monday morning.

Police said the victim was stabbed to death by unknown persons who might have later dumped his body and fled. Police shifted the body to JPMC for postmortem examination.
