HYDERABAD, Feb 22: A man who was posing as an inspector of an intelligence agency was caught by Hesco personnel and handed him over to the police here on Friday.
A spokesman for Hesco said the man, who identified himself as Khalid Shaikh, was harassing the SDO, Liaquat Colony, and other company personnel and was also blackmailing them.
The SDO informed high officials of Hesco and the man was apprehended by the company personnel.
During investigations, it was revealed that the real name of the impersonator was Abdul Matin, who was a native of the Swabi district, NWFP.
RAIN-HIT AREAS: Muttahida Qaumi Movement’s MNA Prof Khalid Wahab and joint zonal in charge Syed Afzal Ahmad Shah visited rain-affected areas here on Saturday.
The areas they visited inculded Fakir-ka-Pir, Guru Nagar Chowk, Pinjra Pole, Pakistani Chowk and various units of Latifabad.
They asked officers and staff of civic agencies to improve sewerage and sanitation systems.
They said the officials should take action against inefficient personnel.
The Muttahida leaders also appealed to people to cooperate with the sanitary staff and not to dispose of garbage and plastic bags in gutters and drains.
