ISLAMABAD, Feb 20: The tax authorities on Thursday allowed exporters to claim rebate on export of various kinds of made-ups.
According to a customs notification, the rate of rebate would be 2.24 per cent of the FOB value applicable from October 26, 2001 to June 30, 2002 on export of 100 per cent cotton grey made-ups filled with polyester staple fibre (PSF) or hollow and polypropylene and 1.97 per cent of the FOB value on the same products from July 1, 2002 to July 1, 2003.
The rebate at the rate of 2.42 per cent of the FOB value would be allowed from October 10, 2001 to June 30, 2002 on 100 per cent cotton bleach made-ups filled with PSF or hollow and polypropylene and 2.18 per cent of the FOB value on the same products from July 1, 2002 to July 1, 2003.
Rebate at the rate of 3.55 per cent of the FOB value from October 26, 2001 to June 30, 2002 on export of 100 per cent cotton dyed or printed made-ups filled with PSF or hollow and polypropylene and 3.32 per cent of the FOB value from July 1, 2002 to July 1, 2003.
According to the notification, rebate at the rate of 4.14 per cent of the FOB value from October 26, 2001 to June 30, 2002 on export of grey blended made-ups (all blends of PSF) filled with PSF or hollow and polypropylene and 3.88 per cent of the FOB value from July 1, 2002 to July 1, 2003; 4.42 per cent of the FOB value from October 26, 2001 to June 30, 2002 on export of bleach blended made-ups (all blends of PSF) filled with PSF or hollow and polypropylene and 4.17 per cent of the FOB value from July 1, 2002 to July 1, 2003.
And the rates of rebate would be 5.40 per cent of the FOB value from October 26, 2001 to June 30, 2002 on export of dyed or printed blended made-ups (all blends of PSF) filled with PSF or hollow and polypropylene and 5.16 per cent of the FOB value on export of the same products from July 1, 2002 to July 1, 2003, respectively.
