KARACHI, Feb 14: Sindh Chief Secretary K.B. Rind has called upon the officials of the Industries and Labour Department to adopt a concrete and practical strategy for elimination of child labour in the province.
He issued the directive after going through a report submitted to him by the Pakistan Children Safety Organization with regard to child labour in a number of private organizations.
The chief secretary asked the department to survey all such factories, shops, industrial units and other organizations where children are employed as labour.—APP
