Proposal on Iraq welcomed

LAHORE, Feb 11: Peace, Justice and Human Rights Commission of Church of Pakistan chairman and Bishop of Lahore Dr Alexander John Malik has welcomed the Franco-German proposal for peaceful disarmament of Iraq in accordance with the UN Resolutions.

In his Eidul Azha message for the people of Pakistan, the Bishop called upon them to remember their Kashmiri and Palestinian brethren struggling for freedom and prayed for cessation of enmity and restoration of peace in the hearts of men.
