12 more pilgrims die

ISLAMABAD, Feb 8: Another 12 Pakistani pilgrims, including five women, died of heart attack and other ailments in Makkah and Madina.

According to a statement issued by the religious affairs ministry here on Saturday, Akbar Khan, 44, son of Karimdad, passport No.581985, of Lalalai; Mohammad Azamtullah, 70, son of Rifatullah, passport No.488338, Karachi; Allah Ditta Khan, 70, son of Noor Mohammad, passport No.111790, Sohawa; Mubarak Ali, 64, son of Wali Mohammad Mian, passport No.158382, Sahiwal; Mohammad Akram, 61, son of Fazaluddin, passport No.488328, Karachi; Hakim Bibi, 74, daughter of Mian Qamarruddin, passport No.176977, Gujrat; Abdul Rasheed, 60, son of Mohammad Hayat, passport No.943144, Islamabad; Sahida Parveen, 48, daughter of Mohammad Saleem, passport No.483612, Karachi; Abdul Wahab, 61, son of Syed Mohammad, passport No.15-061, Quetta; Sarwar Bibi, 62, daughter of Mohammad Azam, passport No.210682, Mirpur; Gulzar Begum, 63, wife of Shad Mohammad, passport No.166772, Multan; and Alam Khatoon, 70, wife of Dost Mohammad, passport No.251629, Qasur; died due to different causes.

They have been buried in Janatul Muallah at Makkah and Janatul Baqi, Madina.

So far, 45 Pakistani pilgrims have died.—APP
