‘Pakistan-France ties to grow’

ISLAMABAD, Feb 6: French Prime Minister Jean-Pierre Raffarin on Thursday said he was convinced relations between Pakistan and France would be further strengthened under the new Pakistani civilian government.

Mr Raffarin made his comments in a message sent to Pakistan Prime Minister Zafarullah Jamali while overflying Pakistani territory en route to India.

“I am convinced that during your mandate at the head of the Pakistani government, the traditional bonds of cooperation and friendship between our two countries will further strengthen,” he said.—AFP
