KARACHI, Feb 1: The Excise and Taxation Department has allowed an extension of 15 days for depositing the current motor vehicle tax (MVT).

According to an announcement here on Saturday, the grace period ending on Jan 31 has now been extended up to Feb 15.

The department has told the motor vehicle owners to deposit their due MVT by Feb 15 and avoid a penalty of 20 per cent.—APP
