KARACHI: Environmental safety

KARACHI, Feb 1: The Environment Protection Agency has been directed to ensure environmental safety within and around educational institutions.

The directive was issued to the EPA, the local government and the public health engineering departments by Sindh Chief Secretary K.B. Rind after noticing an open sewerage drain along the IBM building in Korangi during a visit to the institute.

He also issued directives for repair of the Korangi Road. Earlier, he was given a briefing by IBM chairman Shahjahan S. Karim about the institute.

Mr Rind told the education department to establish computer/business sciences’ institutes in all districts of the province to help the youth in competing the future challenges with confidence.
