NAWABSHAH, Jan 31: The activists of the Muttahida Majlis-i-Amal held a protest demonstration on Friday against the United States and Britain over their intentions to attack Iraq.
Addressing the gathering, Maulana Hizbullah Khoso, president, MMA, Nawabshah, alleged that the USA and the UK were hatching a conspiracy to destroy Muslims.
He said that they wanted to attack Iraq and get hold of its oil reserves.
Nazimuddin Burdi said that the Muslim world must get united at this crucial time.
The members adopted several resolutions demanding an immediate stop to the FBI’s involvement in Pakistan and their immediate return.
The activists of the party also held protest demonstrations at Daur, Bandhi, 60 miles, Jam Saheb, Bucheri, and 68 Mori on the same issue.
SUKKUR: Workers of the Pakistan Muslim League-N on Friday staged a rally in Kandhkot against the impending attack on Iraq by the United States.
The rally, which was led by the local president of the PML-N, Zaffar Mughal, began from the Library Chowk and terminated at the Clock Tower.
Leaders of the rally called upon the Muslim countries to take a unified stand against the aggression of the US.
