KARACHI, Jan 30: “Prime Minister and I will walk step by step with the Indus Motor Company (IMC) for the restoration of investment and betterment of the economy,” Minister for Industries and Production, Liaquat Ali Jatoi said.

At the launching of the first Cuore Eco CNG car, at the IMC, he said that the government wanted to bring in new technical recipes from other countries in order to compete globally.

He said the government is focussing on three major aspects — encouraging and protecting investment, local manufacturing and human resource development.

Chairman IMC Ali Habib urged the government to provide consistency in economic policies.

Mazhar Valjee, CEO of IMC, said that the company had achieved 10,000 units of Cuore production just five days ago, says a press release of the company.
